Renowned Photographer Inez Lewis visits Puerto Rico
A while back I was introduced to Inez Lewis by Madeline Jones, she was coming to Puerto Rico to do a shoot for a Wedding and wanted to meet Ana Garcia and me to do a shoot and talk about the Plus Size Industry on the Island and of course I was honored saying yes immediately. Aspiring Plus Size Model Sandra Carreras also came along to do a shoot with her.
We met her at Rincón at the Villa Cosfesi Hotel, Jewelry Designer Grisel Barrios met us there because the models were going to use her jewelry for the shoot and Designer Nelly Trinidad made Ana a beautiful skirt for the shoot…
We decided to do the shoot in Aguadilla were they have these amazing ruins, it was magical, you feel like you are in another world, we had so much fun, Inez is so easy to talk too, on the way to the Ruins we talked so much about the Industry, her work, family, I was so amazed because I felt I had known her for years, we got lost but we joked about it, it was quite an adventure.
I saw some pics she took of the models and they were beautiful, we also talked about her coming back eventually to do a project with Plus Size Models on the Island…. let’s see what happens, if you ever have a chance to shoot with her trust me you will not be disappointed…

I loved reading this article first and foremost because I’m Puerto Rican and I love to see how people are enjoying the place I grew up in. I also loved this article due to the fact that I didn’t even know there was plus size modeling going on. I think that’s great!
