This crazy winter weather has had my skin working overtime, going from oily to dry so quick. So I’ve been changing up my night time skin routine to accommodate the weather we are having. When I was younger I never use to really take care of my skin, now that I am older I finally realize how important it truly is for your overall health. My mother always told me to always find a great cleanser, scrub and moisturizer for my skin to keep it healthy, also drinking 8 ounces of water 6 times a day gives you clearer skin as well.
I’m use to having tons of products that do many different things for my skin as part of my routine. Scrubs and creams and serums galore! I found my ultimate secret weapon and it’s Bioré’s new Baking soda line. When I heard Bioré came out with this new line I was so eager to try it and review it for you guys. I headed to Walmart and they had a great deal for the Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub and the Baking Soda Pore Cleanserwhich also had a Dollar off coupon woo!
What I love about these two Cleansing products is that they deep clean and exfoliate your skin. Your pores are left looking clean and your skin is so smooth. It cleans your pores out while dissolving dirt that accumulates during the day. I have clogged pores, I have been struggling with it for a few years now so I was excited to see how Bioré worked so great on my skin. Here is my five step routine when it comes to getting clearer skin.
Step One: Wet your face and make sure all of the makeup you had on is completely removed, we all know a makeup wipes don’t always get all the makeup so after wiping it off the best you can, give your face a bit of a rinse with cold water.
Step two: I always make sure to exfoliate my face before cleansing it because it picks up all the dirt on your face and pores and lifts them. I start off using the “Bioré Baking Soda Cleansing Scrub” !
Add a quarter size of the product in your hand and a drizzle of water and watch it fizz! Apply it on your face and scrub away all those blackheads. I love that I can control the way I exfoliate my skin with just a bit of H20!
Step three: Cleanse your skin this is so important it wash away everything you just lifted from your skin by exfoliating it. I used the Bioré Baking Soda Pore Cleanser and let it sit for a minute or two and rinsed my face off.
Step Four: Moisturize your skin to lock it all in! I also add come coconut oil and castor oil to my brows and lashes, this helps them grow. It’s part of my night time skin care/hair care routine as well.
Step Five: Enjoy that fresh face feeling! I love how instantly my face started glowing after using this combination of the scrub and cleanser on my skin. These are my holy grail products because they actually work! I have tried for so long to find something that would control my combination skin and unclog my pores and Bioré does not disappoint.
What do you think of these new Bioré products? and the fact that they incorporated baking soda? Which I think it’s pretty amazing! I have combination skin and the baking soda products are perfect for that. However, if you have oily skin, be sure to check out Biore’s line of charcoal products”.
Let me know in the comments your thought’s I would love to know what you think!
