I don’t know about you but I am so over this cold weather. I’m from New york and LOVE the cold but enough is enough; give me some sun already. I want to hit the beach now – what’s up,mother nature?! The title of my post is how to get a bikini body and I know you’re like okay tell me how and it is easy?! YES it is!
Step Two: Put a swimsuit on!
Step Three: Rock the hell out of that swimsuit!
I know it’s easier said than done. A lot of us, including myself, still struggle with body insecurities, especially in a society that tells you that your body isn’t good enough. That what you see in the magazines is real and that you should diet to be accepted in this world. I’m here to tell you that you are perfect they way you are, that all bodies are good bodies. That your “imperfections”aren’t flaws they distinguishing features that make you, you! You are the master of your own body, you can do whatever you want with it. Something that I try to do every time I have a day when I feel absolutely crappy about myself and body is look in the mirror and say out loud what I love about my body.
Love your stretch marks. A lot of us feel like “oh they are ugly, etc.” But, for most of us who havestretch marks, they’re evidence of a life well-lived, or even of carrying human life. Doing this everyday won’t magically make you feel better overnight, but it will get you there; it takes time loveyour body for all that it is. Once you stop seeing your body as an excuse for not doing something or wearing something, you start realizing all the things you are capable of, regardless of size.
“There is nothing wrong with your body. But there is a lot wrong with the messages which try to convince you otherwise.” — Rae Smith
“Stop wasting so much energy hating your body; it makes you weaker. Everything good in your life begins from the moment you begin accepting, understanding, respecting and loving your true self”. — Harry Papas
