I love sharing amazing campaigns with you guys and when I heard about the #HungerIsUS campaign I jumped at the chance to share with you guys. Something like this campaign is near to my heart because when I was younger I was thankful for programs like this that helped my family get through a tough time. If you are a Randalls/Safeway shopper they have an amazing program that will give you the chance to help feed the hungry. It runs from September 1st till September 30th, 2015 it helps aid in the relief of childhood hunger in America. Programs like this help raise awareness, you can volunteer hours, the money from this will help improve health outcomes for hungry children and their families.
If you are an existing Randalls/Safeway shopper there are 2 ways you can help.
Donating at the register: Shoppers will be asked by the cashiers while checking out if they would like to donate to the “Hunger Is Fundraiser. This is offered at some Randalls/Safeway stores, make sure to check online where it’s available. At my store this wasn’t an option but that was okay because I opted for the second option. Safeway Stores: Key Pin Pad Request ,Randalls Stores: Donation Tabs at Register!
Purchasing participating products: There are quite a few brands that are participating in this national campaign, alot of them are my all time favorite products. Isn’t it amazing how you can buy your favorite product and help others at the same time. I decided to pick up a few of the items I enjoyed. Like Marie Calender’s meals and coke products. Other brands apart of this is Kellogg’s Campbell’s , Con Agra: Marie Calender’s| Healthy Choice| Bertolli’s | PF Changs brands Unilever.
In America nearly 17 millions kids are at risk of hunger each day that goes by, that is such a staggering number. This can be in your very neighborhood or even one of your friends, this is why I am so happy Safeway stores are banding together to help end hunger in the US. We can all get together and help donate or even just spreading the word of this campaign can get us closer to ending childhood hunger in America.

Well at least that’s the case for myself. I Only shop in the clearance rack or when there is a sale i cannot pass up. It is possible to shop for fashionable clothing on a budget. And i’m here to help and give tips on how to achieve this. I want to show that you can still be a Fierce and Fabulous Curvy Gal on a thrift store budget.
