Earlier this week I shared a post introducing you to national Hamburger month and I shared my shopping experience as well. Check out the post here. Besides blogging I work a 9 to whenever haha so sometimes it’s hard to cook dinner and I’m so tired from work that I just want to pop something in the microwave. But thankfully Hamburger Helper® has tons of meals that I could choose from and they are all so affordable. I went to Walmart and grabbed a few boxes and thought of a way to spice it up. Having dinner with my family reminds me of having Sunday brunch with my abuelita, it really brought out family together. It was a time for all of us to talk about what happened the previous day. I wanted to create a recipe that reminded me of my childhood family meals.
Pic De Gallo recipe:
Half a onion
Small Tomato
Small bunch of Cilantro
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
Taco Crunch:
2 boxes of Hamburger Helper Taco Crunch
Beef or Chicken
First things first you start cooking the meat of your choice. I used ground turkey for this recipe!
Then add all the ingredients and mix up in pan, let simmer for 20 minutes.
After you simmer the ingredients it should look like this.
Now get a few slices of Pepper jack and slice it.
Set the pepper jack aside while you mix cheese sauce, put the taco pieces over the Hamburger Helper® and pour the mix cheese on top. Top with the pepper jack.
Stick the pan in the oven for 10 minutes at 300 degrees, then start cutting up the onions, tomatoes and cilantro.
Mix it all up in a bowl after cutting, add garlic powder, salt and pepper.
By this time the dish in the oven should have gotten all cheesy! Pull the dish out and let it cool for ten minutes.
After it has cooled, make sure to plate it and tops with Pico de gallo mixture.
There you have it! A super simple recipe featuring Hamburger Helper® Taco crunch. Which Hamburger Helper® meal is your favorite and what would you pair it with?

My Name is Violet i am a Fashion/Beauty Blogger I’ve blogged for more than 3years. I’m originally from Brooklyn, New York,i have spent 15 years in South Beach,Florida. I started blogging about Fashion and Beauty, plus events i attend frequently around the USA. As a Plus size or Curvy girl its hard to find nice clothing on a budget. Well at least that’s the case for myself. I Only shop in the clearance rack or when there is a sale i cannot pass up. It is possible to shop for fashionable clothing on a budget. And i’m here to help and give tips on how to achieve this. I want to show that you can still be a Fierce and Fabulous Curvy Gal on a thrift store budget.

Ok, you have just made my day. I was just talking to my husband about wanting to make more things from scratch. This is awesome.
