This new year I made a promise to eat a bit more healthier, I usually eat healthy but I do have the occasional sweets here and there. It’s hard to stay on track but if you find something that will help you stay on track you can achieve your goal. Recently i went to Sam’s club and found Lean Cuisine 6pk and 4pk meals, i was so excited to see they were on sale! The new prices for January – February are: LC Italian 4-pk: $6.98 (was $7.98), LC Asian 6-pk: $9.98 (was $11.25) ~ Great prices! I saved so much money going to Sam’s club to purchase these items. Alone the LC Asian 6pk was a great deal I saved 7 dollars going there.
While I was at sams club I also got a sweet treat, did I tell you my weakness is ice cream sandwiches 🙁 Well I found Skinny Cow Ice cream: for $8.98 (was $9.98) and were only 150 calories! When I saw that I did a bit of a happy dance I’m sure people were staring at me haha I can’t believe I saved so much money at sam’s club on health food! Check out my whole shopping trip on my Google+ page.
When I got home I decided to make a side dish; I had a bag of frozen stir fry mix in my freezer and wanted to spruce it up a bit. Here is the recipe;
“Stir Fry Vegetables”
1 Bag of Stir Fry vegetables
2 teaspoons of Soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon of Oyster sauce
1 teaspoon of Worcestershire
2 teaspoons of Sesame oil
1 tablespoon of Brown sugar
Heat the frying pan with a bit of olive oil, once the pan is heated add the frozen vegetables. Stir vegetables till vegi’s are tender, once it is add all of the ingredients heat up for a few minutes let sit on a plate for a few and enjoy!
This was a great complement to the Lean Cuisine Asian Inspired meal. Everything was light and healthy and easy to make. This meal was only under 500 calories! that’s even including the skinny cow ice cream sandwich.
