It’s almost summer so I have been working on clearing my skin and getting it beach ready. And I have been looking for some products that not only will treat my skin problems but would cover my trouble areas. So I was quite excited when I had the chance to review Neutrogena’s line.
There are just a few things you will need to create a natural looking face.
It’s very important to take care of your skin from the inside out. Hydrate your skin from within by drinking lots of water. Always try to carry a bottle of water with you when your and about in the heat. Cleansing your skin is important also, with Neutrogena’s Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes it removes 99.3% of the dirt, oil and makeup on your face. I followed up with the Oil free Grapefruit Cleansing Wipes by Neutrogena it takes away pore clogging dirt with one wipe. It’s so easy to use and you don’t have to rinse your face off after, you know usually when you use wipes your face feels a bit heavy, but with these your skin will feel fresh. The only Con I can say about the Grapefruit cleansing wipes was the overwhelming smell, it wasn’t bad it smelled quite amazing but it was a bit too much and because I have allergies my eyes started to water. So just be prepared for the scent it’s very pleasant but strong.
It’s very important to moisturize after you cleanse your face morning and right before putting your makeup on. Neutrogena’s Rapid Tone Repair Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 is made with Retinol SA which even’s out your skin tone and smooths out fine lines. It’s also important to apply sunscreen, I can tell you how many times I have gone outside without sunscreen and regretted it later. I live in South Florida so I have to wear sunscreen everyday to protect me from the harmful rays. Thats why I love the Ultra Sheer Sunscreen from Neutrogena, it’s very lightweight and glides on easily. Now you have to prime your skin before you put your makeup on. The reason you need to prime your skin before makeup application is easy. Just like you prime a wall before you paint it, you can prime your face before you apply foundation. Primers work much like a moisturizer under your foundation does: they ease the application of foundation and are meant to create a barrier between foundation and skin. With Neutrogena’s skin primer you can do exactly that.
I was pretty excited to try out the makeup products I am a makeup junkie I must admit. I had to buy a whole rolling shelf for just my makeup, I’m not ashamed to admit I have an obsession I actually have been looking for new foundation and I couldn’t decide what I exactly wanted. So when I received the Neutrogena Shine Control Foundation in this package to review I was ecstatic because it’s exactly what I wanted and never knew I needed. It was very creamy and lightweight ,glided on smoothly and had a matte finish which is amazing. I finished off with the Shine Control Powder, I really loved this product it was very light and when I applied I kept on applying thinking I wasn’t putting anything on. But as i applied I can see it was setting my makeup which was great.
The Crease Proof Eye Shadow has amazing pigments and made my eyes stand out. It lasted the whole night and did not crease which I was very happy about. I felt like it can be used also as a base and an eyeshadow.
Healthy Lengths Mascara, did exactly what they said it would. I felt like I was wearing falsies. It made my eyes pop and did make my lashes 100% longer, I applied it two times and it had a more fuller look.
Moisture Smooth Color Sticks: I received the Juicy Peach stick, It’s a very neutral lip color. I have tried many, upon many lips sticks and they have never been this smooth. And it has a bit of a nice fruity scent which was quite nice.
I loved how these products made my skin feel and look, it was very natural looking and clean.
