Last month I had the pleasure to attend an amazing tour at the Chi Factory thanks to Houston Latina Bloggers and Lopez Marketing. We were invited to learn more about the brand and the man/people behind the brand.
On the tour we learned what goes into making Chi products, I have been a huge fan for a long time and never knew that they created some of my favorite products like the Kardashian brand, biosilk etc. I was so excited while walking through the factory, I’ve been using the products forever so to actually walk in the place it was created was so surreal.
I’m not going to lie I have never been in a factory before and pretty amazed by the Chi factory, it takes so much work to create the products that we love. I love that Farouk Systems is here in Houston and employs more than 2,000 folks and has product distributions in over 100 countries worldwide.
Farouk Systems, Inc is a houston based factory Farouk Systems that was founded in 1986 by Farouk Shami, a hairdresser, with the mission to provide the professional beauty industry with the most advanced American technology based upon ‘Education, Environment and Ethics’.
I began Farouk Systems on a mission and a dream. My mission and dream was to provide my fellow hair artists with a safer workplace environment free of harsh chemicals, advanced knowledge through education and new professional-only systems that could not be duplicated at home. This is why Farouk Systems’ mission statement has always been and still is: Environment, Education and Ethics.
This trip to Chi was filled with so much information about Chi, the new products coming out for the line which I can’t wait to share with you guys it was so exciting. We were in a conference with the marketing of Chi and they let us know what’s to come for 2016, including exciting news that Zendaya is their spokeswoman.
Zendaya is my fashion and beauty icon and I am so excited to hear she will be partnering up with Chi and sharing how amazing they are with her 30 million followers on instagram.
Basim is seriously too funny,kind and gave us tips on how to use their products like Biosilk, that not only be used on our hair but your skin as well, Basim swears by it. We also toured where the hairstylist train for the lonestar school that Chi is apart of of, they love to give back to the community and has partnered up with lonestar to educate students about haircare etc. 
I just want to thank Farouk Systems,Lopez marketing and HLB for making this happen I truly had an amazing time and feel so blessed to be apart of such an amazing community.
