When I say Natural Belleza I mean what you have within yourself, forget all of that makeup and show your true beauty within. I know showing your true beauty without all the makeup can be hard especially if you are like me suffering from allergies all the time. Trust me I understand I lived in South Beach for a long time and suffered everyday with ALLERGY FACE. Living in a place where your allergies are acting crazy 24/7 can be so awful and uncomfortable. Puffy eyes and a runny nose is what I battle all the time! It’s hard to embrace your natural beauty when you look like the creature from the deep, no bueno! There are a few things you can do to wake up your face and make your face look a bit brighter.
Here a a few tips my Grandma and Mother taught me plus a few tricks I learned:
Before bed make sure to apply moisturizer and remove all makeup, leaving makeup on can cause ALLERGY FACE. I have had Mascara get in my eye and set off my allergies to a whole other level.
Blue eye makeup counteracts redness. Smudge on a navy or cobalt blue on your top lash line, then carefully line the inside of your bottom lashline in the same color.
My mother has taught me to always have a good bronzer and blush on hand when my ALLERGYFACE attacks. She said that a bronzer with brown hues will give you a more refreshed look and that the blush will wake up my face.
I asked a few of my Makeup Artists friends what would wake the face after or during an allergy attack. A few told me to find a green corrector, they said that will cancel out redness in the face. They also told me to have a silicone based primer that it will fill in the lines and wrinkles in your face caused by your allergies.
Don’t forget to take your medication, something like ZYRTEC can help you combat your allergies all year round.
Make sure to carry a makeup bag full of the thing I mentioned so you can have it just in case of an allergy fit.
The makers of ZYRTEC® have partnered with beauty and fashion expert, Carmen Ordoñez from VivaFashionBlog.com, to help women combat ALLERGY FACE™ beauty challenges like a puffy face, watery eyes and a red nose that are associated with typical allergy symptoms. She will help you embrace your natural belleza!
Here are some other useful tips from Carmen to combat ALLERGY FACE™:
-
Eyes: Use an eyelash curler before applying mascara to help “wake up” your ALLERGY FACE™. Using a curler will make your eyes look wide open, so you look fresh and awake.
-
Nose: If your nose is irritated and dry, avoid putting on foundation, which can look caked on. Instead apply a rich moisturizer and let it dry. Less is more! Don’t overdo it with too much makeup!
- Face: To help reduce the appearance of ALLERGY FACE™, place a cold, damp cloth on your face for 10 minutes. To combat a puffy face and reduce the redness run and ice cube over your face before applying makeup. Don’t forget to also drink plenty of what to keep your skin hydrated.
